Why did that trojan get past my Anti-virus program?

You've got your Anti-virus program, Windowows Defender, all your security updates - so why did you get infected??? Aren't you protected?

That's why they try to get YOU to help them...

They are called Trojans for a reason - they look all innocent and even helpful, but as soon as you let them in, they come out swinging.

• "free" programs or desktop pics or screen savers
• "free" music or movies
• email attachments (they really love to hide in zip files and PDF's)
• rotating ads in the banner of a legitimate site
• scareware - "your PC is infected with 342 viruses - click here for a free scan"

The bad guys are really good
(at what they do)

They are putting 100% of their energy into this. You are putting most of your energy into your work - not paying so much attention to looking for this bad stuff, and they know this. So they make it simple for you to accidently help them.

This isn't like the old days where a pimple-faced punk does it just because he can. This is for REALLY BIG money. Someone is getting paid everytime a computer gets infected...

So just pay attention...
